ODOT's Region 1 Transportation Management and Operations Center is located in downtown Portland, Oregon. ODOT and WSDOT share real-time transportation information to monitor and manage traffic operations between the two states in the Portland/Vancouver metro area. Real-time information is accomplished via a fiber optic communication. Information shared between the traffic operation centers includes: real-time, streaming video images, traffic flow data, shared ATMS data, major traffic incidents, etc.
