Vancouver, WA – The Southwest Washington Regional Transportation Council (RTC) is encouraging public comment on a $219 million draft 2018-2021 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP) that includes most major projects underway in the Clark County, Washington, region through 2021. Transportation investment will include many state highways, city and county streets, transit facilities, and bicycle and pedestrian connections. The draft TIP may be downloaded here.

The formal public comment and review period will run from August 30, 2017 through October 3, 2017. The RTC Board of Directors is scheduled to approve the final 2018-2021 Transportation Improvement Program at their October 3, 2017 meeting.

Written comments should be sent to RTC, PO Box 1366, Vancouver, WA 98666-1366 or use the public feedback form. Comments can also be made in person at the 4:00 p.m. October 3, 2017, RTC Board meeting at 1300 Franklin Street, 6th Floor Hearing Room, Vancouver, Washington.

This public notice of public involvement activities and time established for public review and comments on the TIP development process will satisfy the FTA’s Program of Projects requirements.
