Vancouver, WA – On October 6, the RTC Board of Directors selected 15 projects to receive approximately $12.1 million in regionally allocated federal transportation funds. Projects will be programmed over the next four years, and includes transportation improvements in the Cities of Vancouver, Camas, La Center, and unincorporated Clark County. Funding will also be used for transit, signal coordination, planning, and ramp meters.
Grant awards will fund road improvements along SE First Street and NE 137th Avenue in the City of Vancouver; NE 152nd Avenue; NE 99th Street, NE 179th Street, and 182nd Avenue/Risto Road in unincorporated Clark County; NW 38th Avenue in the City of Camas; and 4th Street in the City of La Center.
In addition to selecting grants, the Board approved the 2021-2024 Transportation Improvement Program, which indicates a funding commitment for approximately $422 million in transportation investments over the next four years within the Clark County region.
