Vancouver, Washington -- The next meeting of the Citizens Stakeholders Committee Meeting for the Clark County High Occupancy Transportation Study is Wednesday December 17 from 7 p.m. to 8:30 p.m. at the Clark Public Utilities Electric Center meeting room. The Citizens Stakeholders Committee is made up of 15 members and consists of 12 neighborhood and 3 business representatives.

The purpose of this study is to develop a High Occupancy Vehicle/High Capacity Transit region-wide system plan for Clark County that defines policies and objectives, identifies the need and benefits, and identifies the location of possible corridors and/or facilities.

The December 17th meeting will consist of a discussion of policies and objectives for HOV, the mission statement for the High Occupancy Transportation Study and travel forecast information for arterial facilities. Criteria for evaluating freeway corridors and a comparison of freeway travel data with the criteria will also be presented. There will be opportunity at the meeting for public comment.
